Hello! My name is Stephanie Hargrove and I am 41 years old. I graduated with a bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Minor in Generic Special Education from UTPA and graduated with a Master’s degree in Special Education from UTRGV. Recently I graduated with a Principal Certification in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University.
I have been a Special Education teacher for 14 years. I worked as a Life Skills Special Education teacher at McAllen High School for 1 year. I then moved back to San Antonio where I taught at El Dorado for 7 years and was the Special Education Department Chair for 6 years. At El Dorado I taught Specialized Support/ ALE for 4 years, I was a Redirection teacher for 1 year, and a 3rd grade Special Education Co-teacher for 1 year. I then was a General Education Behavior Facilitator for 1 year. This is my 8th year at Howard Early Childhood Center. I am the Special Education Coordinator, help with Behavior Support, and teach Pre-K and Kindergarten students.
I am blessed to be with the love of my life Eric and we have a 15-year-old daughter by the name of Lillian who is our world. I love photography, painting, traveling, and spending time with my family. I look forward to this school year and getting to know all of you.
